Virgin Money Terms and Conditions

  1. Advance fares are subject to availability and can be found on selected services.
  2. Discounts only apply to selected Advance tickets bought with a Virgin Credit Card online at www.virgintrains.com/vmoney.
  3. These tickets are advance purchase only and cannot be bought at stations or on trains. These tickets are not available at the call centre either.
  4. The offer is available for up to 4 customers making single or return journeys.
  5. Reservations for some services may not be open from the start of the sale period. Please check when booking.
  6. The 10% discount doesn't apply to child fares, but child fares are available at 50% of the full adult fare.
  7. Tickets will be sent by post or can be collected at Fast Ticket machines at the relevant station. Please allow at least 4 full working days for postal delivery.
  8. No further discounts apply
  9. Seat reservations are compulsory. Advance tickets are only valid on the dates and trains on which you're booked. If you travel on different dates/trains you'll have to pay the full walk up fare.
  10. Some weekend and occasional weekday services may be affected by engineering works, so please check when booking and also the day before you travel.

  13. You must take your Virgin Credit Card with you when you travel for validation of your ticket on board by the train manager. Failure to do so may result in excess charges up to the value of the appropriate public fare for the journey being made.
  14. No further discounts may be applied on top of the Virgin Money discounts.
  15. Tickets are non-refundable. Changes to time or date of travel must be arranged before departure of the first reserved train. There will be a £10 administration fee per person per single ticket for each change to a journey.
