| You can qualify for a years Traveller membership by making at least eight First Class return journeys or 16 First Class single journeys on Virgin Trains routes within a consecutive three month period of your application. Eligible tickets are:
First Anytime (formerly First Open) - return tickets must be worth £70 or more and single tickets must be worth £35 or more
Virgin Business – tickets must be worth £165 or more
Advance First Single – tickets must be worth £55 or more
First Class season ticket holders are also eligible (three month season tickets must be worth £3,110 or more and annual season tickets must be worth £6,900 or more).
As part of the Fare Simplification changes across the rail network, from 7 September 2008 First Open tickets are now called First Anytime. First Open tickets purchased before 7 September are still eligible for Traveller membership, providing they meet the qualifying criteria. Click here for more information on Fare Simplification.
